“Beauty provoketh thieves sooner than gold”, William Shakespeare.
Slobs Casa has mixed beauty with gold and, in occasion of Salone del Mobile 2015, presents: “Golden Age: a golden era for the excellence of Italian craftsmanship”. A collection of golden furniture and home furnishing products that combine Italian artisan quality with beauty and creativity will be previewed.
From the more popular than ever lightweight Chiavarine chairs, to Claudia Frignani’s coffee tables, from the gleaming frames of Davide Grosso to the sculptures of Emblema Opificio, from Eugenio Vazzano’s unique “patches” to Grottaglia’s cones, from the Hollywood-style mirror of Peppino Campanella to the vintage costume jewelry of Paola Berra, gold shines in all its possible shades in Slobs Casa showroom, in Largo Francesco Richini 2, Milan, from Tuesday 14th to Sunday, April 19th (opening on Monday 13th from 6.00pm).
Symbol of a new lust for luxury that is essentially a desire for purity, ductility, taste and culture. In the meantime Slobs Casa network of artisan-artists has been enriched with two new exponents: Carla Milesi, the Milanese artist that creates with cement and Michele De Lucchi’s “Produzione Privata” - the fascinating artisan side that lives within the projects of the great architect.
